Wake & Thank
I've experienced heartbreak, yes, but I have not let it callous me...
...because I've also experienced having a connection with another person that transcends the both of us and puts life into perspective. I'm grateful for that experience, because it keeps me open -- open to the possibility that I might one day experience it again. That hope allows me to put myself on the line and not live in fear of getting hurt even when I do end up falling.
Today, I'm grateful for my courage & strength to be honest, open, & vulnerable every day, as well as for the man who gave me that first taste of what I'm searching for and proved that it exists. CB, you are appreciated.
